02 / DETAILA closer look at the gameplay

Read the Reborn ten-floor structure separately from the listing

Axie: Den of Mysteries is presented as a turn-based dungeon crawler. Its dedicated Reborn whitepaper describes nine generated floors followed by Kilnbane’s arena on floor ten. The Ronin listing retains different floor and extraction descriptions, so this guide explains the Reborn documentation specifically. It does not verify every current rule or a completed run.

Connect each movement with the remaining Stamina

In the Reborn rules, movement uses Stamina and enemies act after the player. Movement and attacking do not have the same resource cost. The document also links low Stamina to reduced vision, making the route to stairs and the distance to enemies relevant alongside nearby drops. Consumption and weather duration remain documented rules rather than measurements from the current client.

Talents shape the build within a run

The dedicated Levels and Talents page describes gaining XP from enemies and orbs, improving base stats, and selecting one of three offered Talents at relevant levels. Limited slots and a Treasure cost for rerolling introduce a choice between an offered effect and the build already taking shape. These documented mechanics are not an optimal-build ranking, a reward calculation or proof of permanent asset ownership.

Separate ordinary stairs from special-room detours

The Special Rooms page distinguishes ordinary stairs that advance a floor from dropped Special Stairs that lead to healing or item detours. Special rooms are not guaranteed on every floor and do not add to floor progress. Shrine healing and Armory items are different uses of Treasure. Separating the goal of reaching the next floor from searching for another room makes the purpose of a detour clearer.

Special Rooms ·

Check run endings and the weekly cycle separately

The Reborn whitepaper describes defeating the final boss or exhausting Stamina as run endings, with separate automatic-finalization rules at the weekly reset. This should not be combined uncritically with the listing’s extraction wording. Recorded loot, the weekly pool and chance-based Blessings are separate systems; participation does not establish a profit, recovery of spending or successful receipt of rewards.

Keep Key-price differences and access conditions visible

The dedicated rules describe paid Keys for starting a run, while the public landing displays wallet and terms controls. The Ronin listing’s approximate 2 USD and the Reborn document’s 1 USD Key descriptions differ, so no current price is confirmed here. The documented absence of an Axie-ownership requirement does not mean free gameplay or no wallet requirement. Current optional-purchase prices, personal Japan eligibility, authentication, payments and gameplay remain unverified.

  2. Review Talents and the purpose of each room.
