The planned To The Grave main game is a real-time strategy RPG about developing soldiers, equipping them and commanding squads through missions. Preparing a force and directing it during a mission form two different decisions. The Steam description also plans play with friends in the final game; this does not verify current cooperative access or operation.

The description connects soldier and equipment preparation to the use of skills, items and reinforcements in battle.
