THE GAME

Gameplay and this edition

A roguelike deck-builder about beating score targets with poker hands, choosing when to discard and improving the deck between rounds. Its core is single-player score decisions rather than stakes against another poker player. Read core free-play guidance separately from Season Pass and card ownership or trading.

Reviewed editions: Jokers of Neon / official documentation and public entry (personal access unverified). Unverified region, wallet and language conditions are marked in the entry section below.

Reviewed from official documentation and stores. No installation, login or gameplay was performed. Instructions are documented paths, not verified in-app completion.

02 / DETAILA closer look at the gameplay

Read the score target and remaining plays

A single-player run ends when its plays run out before the score target is met. Discards let the player replace cards and pursue a different hand. The basic choice is whether to keep chasing a larger hand or score with the cards already available. Starting counts and hand sizes in the undated guide are documented rules, not independently tested current balance.

Points and multiplier work together

The documented formula multiplies the combined hand, card and bonus points by the combined hand and bonus multiplier. Choosing only by the poker hand name can miss a suit or bonus supported by an active Special Card. Read what produces the score, then align the hand with those effects.

How Scoring Works ·

Separate persistent effects from one-use boosts

Modifiers enter the deck and alter suit or card-type behavior. Specials activate on acquisition and occupy a dedicated slot for a persistent effect. Power-ups are described as one-use point or multiplier boosts. Distinguishing something that must be drawn, something that uses a slot and something consumed once helps identify what a build needs.

Choose a route around Rage and upgrade opportunities

The branching map contains standard Rounds, upgrade Stores and Rage encounters with temporary debuffs. Each level ends in a boss Rage, while the score requirement keeps increasing across the run. Read effects that might weaken the current build, choose a route and use shops to address gaps. Documented generation rates and target curves are not measured current odds or a guaranteed route.

Improve the deck by adding or removing cards

Run cash pays for hand levels, cards, Special slots, power-ups and other upgrades. Burning an unwanted card can also narrow the deck. Compare adding a powerful effect with making useful cards more consistent to draw. This run cash and the guide’s price numbers are not yen, cryptocurrency values or cashable profit.

Free-play guidance still has lives and waiting

The publisher home and Press Kit advertise Free to Play. The progression guide also consumes one life when a run starts and gives standard and Season Pass users different limits and recharge intervals. Do not read free play as unlimited consecutive runs: check the displayed lives and waiting time. Current pass prices, individual free grants and purchase conditions in Japan remain unverified.

Separate seasonal progression from card trading

Missions and level clears provide XP, with free and premium reward tracks described in the guide. The Press Kit also discusses NFT ownership and trading of seasonal Special Cards. The run shop’s cash and an external marketplace are different systems. Check the relevant screen and edition for card availability, active tournaments, claims and wallet requirements rather than combining them into one entry rule.

Choose the official entry for the intended edition

The publisher links to a desktop entry, Google Play and a Spain-region App Store page. Choose the intended device and check its store region and language instead of merging browser and mobile conditions. Registration, wallet connection, installation and gameplay were not performed. A Spain App Store link alone does not establish Japanese distribution or personal eligibility.

The play loop

  1. Choose hands and discards to reach the target.
  2. Combine cards that improve points and multipliers.
  3. Develop the next build through routes and shops.
