Gods Unchained is a card battler built around god-specific decks. Manage your hand, mana and board as you work toward reducing the opposing God’s health to zero. The official introduction includes six starter decks and Solo practice.

Season 19: progression passes and starter practice
The October 12 announcement schedules Season 19 for October 13 at 00:00 UTC. Collector is listed at 300 GODS and Whale at 750, with additional content including a Conquest Ticket. These are announced pass prices, separate from starter practice. Yen conversion, purchases and earned rewards were not verified.
Damage advances the win condition, but leaving enemy creatures can invite a counterattack. The official strategy guide connects surviving creatures, card advantage and mana use. Choosing the biggest card alone does not settle the decision.
After Tutorial, the official guide uses Solo to select both decks. Editorial suggestion: keep your deck fixed and change the opponent to compare card roles. Ranked differs because you do not know the opposing deck in advance.
A large hand and an immediately usable hand are different resources. Likewise, a substantial board play may leave fewer options afterward. Read each action as exchanging one resource for another: hand flexibility, available mana and board presence need not all improve at once. This gives card evaluation a more concrete context.
Solo's selection of both decks supports a focused editorial exercise: retain your deck while changing the opponent, or keep the opponent fixed while studying your own plan. A win alone does not establish a stronger deck. Identify what the comparison taught about the hand or board; these matches were not performed by the editorial team.
A large hand can still offer few immediate responses when mana or board context does not fit. A surviving creature can also demand an opponent’s response. Distinguish cards, usable resources and board function before attributing a loss solely to card strength.
Reckoning announcement: buying and opening are separate
The Reckoning announcement states an October 13 launch and separates buying a pack from opening it. It describes keeping, transferring or selling a sealed pack, and a one-time wallet approval on first opening. This does not confirm current mandatory purchases, live prices or successful transactions. Ordinary practice entry and older Genesis / Trial of the Gods chests are separate.
The October 1 Collector’s Guide describes 87 cards and four pack tiers. It lists Booster at US$1.99 and Premium at US$19.99, with an October 13–November 10 sale window. Compare the documented contents separately from starter-deck practice; current checkout prices and opening results were not tested.
