Tools support gathering, machines refine raw resources, and crafting produces furniture, clothing or decorations. Working backwards from a desired item helps connect materials with tools. Blueprints or tickets obtained through quests also matter, so owning materials and meeting a recipe's requirements are separate questions.
The Moxie guide says activities can continue at zero, but XP stops. Crops and fish can replenish it through food. That creates a distinction between continuing an activity for its output and pursuing progression from it. Treating zero as a complete action lock would obscure that difference.
Read the kind of recipe before committing to crafting
Material-only recipes and recipes involving ALICE are documented separately. Similar-looking crafting goals need not carry the same asset implications. Establish how you intend to use the finished item, then inspect that recipe's actual inputs and conditions. This keeps the life-game objective distinct from asset commitments.
The tutorial index separates digging, raising and flattening terrain. Patch 9, dated September 15, 2025, describes brush shapes, Undo, an avatar-view Preview and relative or absolute height settings.
