01 / PLAYWhat do you do in the game?
BLAST places cards on a sixteen-tile board and captures adjacent opponents through positioning and elemental relationships. The JP app retains the old TCG title under the same ID while describing Blast; Arise is separate.
Balance strong-card plays against energy and available tiles. Blast abilities include resource and use limits, making timing another decision alongside captures and future placement.
The announced Adventure branch adds puzzles, quests and bosses. Old closed-test Mint Pass, verification and Trinity scoring are not current public-entry rules. Read the announced health, deck and board outcomes separately. The download entry is identified; current account-to-first-duel controls remain unverified.
Prepare a deck and Blasts.
Spend energy on placement and adjacent captures.
Read board control, health and remaining cards before the next turn.
BLAST places cards on a four-by-four board and uses adjacent captures. A card's description is only part of the decision: its square determines which neighbours it can affect and which relationships it leaves for the opponent. Read the placement as the start of another decision, rather than an isolated gain.
Connect Blasts and energy with the remaining position
Placement and Blasts are constrained by energy and their applicable limits. Compare changing the board now with retaining a response, while reading health and remaining cards. Old Trinity scoring alone would misdescribe the objective. Historical test eligibility likewise does not define current general entry conditions.
Adventure is described through specific challenges
The Adventure announcement describes puzzles, quests and bosses, supplying a challenge-based context beyond opponent prediction. An editorial learning approach is to focus separately on adjacency, energy and remaining options. Dated anniversary events in the same announcement are not presented as still running.
The Steam preview reviewed on October 18 links a card’s Power to both its cost and capture strength. Elemental matchups, adjacent allied Affinity and Terrain can change the context. Read the chosen square and remaining Energy alongside the printed number; the page also describes sacrificing cards to regain Energy. This explains a documented resource trade-off, rather than a tested best move. These are preview rules for the unreleased Steam offering, not verification of current Japanese iOS balance.
The Steam description separates three Blast tiers: Level 1 is constrained by available Energy, Level 2 is listed at up to two uses per match, and Level 3 at one. Spending Energy now and retaining an ability for a later board state are separate decisions. The table keeps the documented limits visible; it does not verify every current app card or carry historical test eligibility into ordinary play.
A full board is not settled by capture count alone
The same Steam preview lists three routes: reduce opposing HP to zero, exhaust the opposing deck, or compare HP when the board is full. A chain capture should therefore be read against the objective it advances. Keep remaining HP, deck and empty squares in view rather than substituting older board-count scoring. Detailed tie handling and actual end-of-match behavior were not tested.

Web Portal Sign In shows Apple, Google, Epic Games, Steam and Facebook entries. Equivalence to first iOS authentication remains unverified. No provider authentication, terms acceptance or game launch was performed.

If you choose additional features
1
If you already play on mobile and want to continue on Epic, read the dedicated BLAST progression-sharing FAQ. [6]
The publisher FAQ on Epic describes using an existing mobile account on Epic and signing in with the same account to synchronize progression.
This covers an existing account. Japan iOS initial registration/sign-in controls, eligibility and successful synchronization remain unverified. Epic payment, refund and external-asset conditions are not transferred to Japan iOS.
2
If considering BLAST-related products on the Portal, distinguish its payment conditions from normal Japan iOS admission. [7]
The terms updated January 20 and published January 24, 2025 describe a personal account for Portal purchases of TCG Blast products, a compatible wallet for cryptocurrency payments and third-party payment processing for fiat payments.
This covers optional Portal products and payments. It does not establish whether a wallet or product purchase is required for the first Japan iOS duel, or the registration screen order. The general Sites age clause is not a Japan-app minimum age. No purchase, registration or agreement acceptance was performed.

Where do you want to make decisions: hand or board?
Decisions in this game
Capture cards through adjacency and elemental matchups on a 16-square board. Consider the resulting board and remaining Energy and Blasts, not card strength alone.
These are editorial selection points inferred from official gameplay descriptions. Display order is not a rating; upcoming access and unknown conditions retain their offering scope.
Why compare this game Compare using cards now or banking them for future energy rather than board adjacency and elemental matchups.
Build future energy by deciding whether to play a card now or bank it. For players who want hand management during a match as well as deck construction beforehand.
The official March 2026 BLAST announcement explains the newer battle content. Compare the description for the same Japan App Store ID rather than choosing a mode solely from the historical TCG name. Its limited anniversary event is separate from current registration; a rename or announcement does not establish player growth.
What cost, language, wallet and Japan eligibility conditions apply to each edition?

How do I distinguish the retained TCG app name from BLAST?
The Japan App Store retains the TCG name under app ID 1658799347 while its body describes BLAST card battles. Check the publisher, app ID and current description together rather than relying on the title.
The reviewed app-language list names English and does not list Japanese. Localized store copy is separate; absence is not an explicit unsupported statement.
Does Portal sign-in establish the iPhone onboarding flow?
This observation covers the Web Portal’s authentication entry. Multiple provider choices are visible, but correspondence to first iOS BLAST login is unverified. Japanese Portal copy also does not establish Japanese game UI.
The dedicated BLAST FAQ on Epic describes using a mobile account on Epic and signing in with the same account to synchronize progress. It does not describe creating a separate account for first entry. Japan iOS registration/sign-in sequence, present eligibility and actual synchronization remain unverified; progression sharing does not establish them.
Are Portal purchase conditions the same as starting BLAST?
They cannot be treated as equivalent. The Portal terms updated January 20 and published January 24, 2025 describe an account for TCG Blast product purchases, a compatible wallet for cryptocurrency payments and third-party fiat payment processing. This concerns Portal purchases; normal Japan iOS admission, mandatory purchases or wallets for the first duel and initial authentication order remain unverified.
